Ooty the Beauty
Journey to Ooty was one of the most aesthetic experiences of my life. I can name Ooty as 'The Land of Life'. Listen, you don't need a jacket or a hoodie or a big thick blanket around you most of the time while you are in Ooty. Ooty is obviously chilling. You have gone to enjoy the chillness. At most, you can just wear a scarf or something if you need or if you can't suffer the weather. There are a few places one must visit in Ooty from my point of view.
This is why I call it 'The Land of Life'! You must really visit Ooty.
Pykara
Wanna look at a river with utmost composure? Go to Pykara. You'll come across some steps downward. I can recall my memories there. As you descend the steps, you'll find the river more and more alluring as you approach it. Never forget Pykara when you are present at Ooty. It's very famous too. You can go boating and stuff. Trust me, it's a calm and peaceful location. You can sing and scream your lungs out in the boat and no one will be there to bother you!
The Government Botanical Garden
Stunning are the scenes there at The Botanical Garden. The garden is spread across hectares and hectares and you can find something(maybe that'll not be a mere something for some among you!). You can feed your eyes with a lot of plants, flowers, trees, shrubs and what not! Okay, Bonsai even. One can enjoy a celestial banquet over there. Is it only me who felt like climbing those, SO healthy and muscled up trees?!Doddabetta
Maybe it might take some minutes for you to pronounce the name of the place. But it's the same like reaching the top of this, magnificent place where you'll get an elegant view from the peak of Doddabetta. Once you reach a level of the peak, you'll see so many stalls and vendors with ice-creams, coloured-ice etc.Bites from Roadsides
If you are a leisure-bite lover or even if you are not one, you'll feel to eat the roadside attractions at once because the way they're tempting is really something delicious. A cup of tea might be enough to get the significance of items in Ooty. If the scene itself is delicious, imagine the taste when we have it! Mangoes, fresh carrots, steamed and coaled corn, small apples, cotton candies, ice-creams, colour-ices etc will be sprinting when you travel in your car. You'll get something all over Ooty. I don't know all the ingredients in it. Raw mangoes plus peanuts plus chopped onion with some kind of liquidy thing mixed up. The mouth watering sight had been an initiation for me to have it. And once it got into my tongue, I didn't have words to define the feeling!Orange Pekoe Hotel
A hotel in Ooty where we had some snacks and a drink on our way back. The name was kind of attracting for me, so I was so excited in eating there. It's a very good and hygienic hotel with fine and modest ambience. You know what Pekoe is? It's a grade of fine quality black tea. This is why I call it 'The Land of Life'! You must really visit Ooty.
